Check on MySPR Semak ↗

Step by step

1. Open the portal. Go to mysprsemak.spr.gov.my, or download the MySPR Semak app (App Store / Google Play).

2. Enter your IC number. Key in your MyKad number and the CAPTCHA code, then press Semak.

3. Read your details. You'll see your registration status, state and parliamentary seat, your polling station (pusat mengundi), your voting stream (saluran) and locality.

Do I still need to register?

Generally, no. Under automatic voter registration (AVR), in force since December 2021, Malaysian citizens turning 18 are added to the electoral roll automatically — the same reform (Undi18) that lowered the voting age from 21 to 18. It's still worth checking that your name and address details are correct, especially if you've moved.

Other ways to check

If you can't use the website, you can also download the MySPR Semak app, or call the Election Commission (SPR) hotline. Always use the official spr.gov.my domain — avoid third-party sites asking for your details.
